The Cowboys Choked....Again!!!
Well, I guess I was too optimistic in thinking that the Cowboys would win at least one of their last two games. They lost their final home game to Baltimore with a score of 33-24. and then got ran of the field at Philadelphia. I kinda thought that was gonna lose Sunday, but 44-6? I still can't believe it. I now know one thing: the Cowboys are one of the most talented groups, but not a team. They truly lack locker room leadership. They bicker publicly and that can divide a team. Always so quick to point the finger at someone else, but they do not self evaluate themselves. I know Jerry Jones is immensely disappointed in this season because they were Super Bowl picks by many sportswriters (not me. But then again, I'm a real sportswriter). But, they choked, like they did the last 2 years. Until there is some real accountability on that team, I guess I will be writing "The Cowboys Choked... Again".

HERE COMES THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!
The playoffs are coming!! Too bad it's not college football, but that's another story. However, the picture is getting is quite fuzzy like what we're supposed to do for the DTV change in February,2009. But, I come to give my picks for who would win the WildCard. And guess what? It's not the Lions who I hope they will win tomorrow. Please let them win baby Jesus. Let them get at least one win.
The NFC: Tampa and Dallas.
It's not going to be Atlanta regardless on how fantastic Matt Ryan has been because of the losses against Carolina and Tampa bay who each have a better conference record than Atlanta. But, they will be a team that I wouldn't play against if they were in the playoffs.
It's not going to be Philly because they tied with Cincy and that was supposed to be a win. If that was a W and they beat Dallas in Week 17, they would be in. But they didn't win against the Bengals, so you might chalk that tie as a loss in the schedule and your chance in the playoffs.
Washington is not in because they lost to many games that they were supposed to win like against Cincy and St. Louis.
THE AFC: Indianapolis and Baltimore
The crazy thing about the AFC is that the other teams that are in the hunt for wildcard are Miami, The Jets and the Patriots which are in the same division. But, the AFC East will not bring two teams in the playoof because the tiebreakers that Indy and the Ravens hold over them. So, the winner of the AFC East sweepstakes is......Miami!!!! Miami will beat the Jets the last week of the season to win the division and the last playoff position. Way to redeem yourself for that God-awful season last year and the heartbreaker of a loss in Week 1.

Read The Headlines: THE LIONS LOSE AGAIN!!!!
Yesterday while I was working at Ford Field, I saw La Kisha Jones from American Idol sang the national anthem and that was the only bright spot besides the 70 yard bomb Daunte Culpepper threw to Calvin Johnson. Because of regardless on how nice the touchdown looked, the Lions lost again. I don't know how many times I am going to hear John Mayer's "Waiting For The World To Change" after a Lion loss. I'm just saying that because I work there, but I have seen every major sporting franchise in Detroit win or get really close to winning except for the Lions. The Shock just the title. The Pistons has won the title. The Red Wings just won the Stanley Cup. The Tigers got to the World Series in 2006. The lions... has not won anything 1957 and I'm sick of it!!! I should went to church yesterday. At least I would have left happy, happy in Jesus. Maybe they should go 0-16 and keep their "perfect" season alive. Well, there is one more home game left on the 21st and I might just go to church.

College Basketball is HERE!!!!!!
Okay. College basketball is here because almost all the challenges and invitionals are over. The good news for me is that the Tar Heels are still undefeated. YEA!!! I'm happy about that. I don't care if you're not. So... here are my picks...
BIG TEN: Michigan State was looking until that straight up thumping by my Tar Heels. Purdue is also a team to watch along with Ohio State. Indiana is a team I will be excited about in next 2 years. Their coach Tom Crean is kind of in a bind because the foolishness of Kelvin Sampson and the loyalty of the players to mike Davis. So, Indiana faithful give him at 2 years of patience (even though that is hard to come by in the Hoosier State) because he is a good coach.
BIG 12: I like Texas and Oklahoma. I feel like I'm repeating myself. Is this the college football section? Blake Griffin is something kind of special and they have good guard play is important in conference play and come tournament time. Texas Tech is outscoring everyone (sounds familiar?) Kansas lost of players to the Draft and graduation. They will be better in the next 2 years.
BIG EAST: Wow. there's a lot of teams in the Big East; 16 of them.UConn, Lousville, Norte Dame, Geargtown, Villanova, and Pitt looks good because they didn't really lose any players and still got good recruiting class. Also, I wouldn't sleep on West Virginia, Cincinnati, and Syracuse. The Big East could send about 9 teams to the Big Dance. That is the toughest conference in college basketball.
THE SEC: Okay, Tennessee, Florida and LSU are looking pretty good. Kentucky is a bid question mark. I just don't know them just like everyone else in the SEC.
THE ACC: It's all about UNC. Wake Forest and Miami is really nice. The other school in Durham that isn't NC State is pretty good but not better than the Tar Heels.
THE PAC 10: Well, UCLA and Washington are pretty good. USC is on the upswing and Arizona is reeling with resignaton of Lute Olsen. Oregon is okay and so is Stanford.
BRACKET BUSTERS: Check out for Butler, Drake, Drexel, Creighton, VCU,Nevada Gonzaga, Davidson, UNLV, and Witchita State(I think that's how you spell it).
Well, I think that's it. So long, Farewell, and Good-bye!!
